Coast Country 100.9 is the new home of the COLGATE COUNTRY SHOWDOWN! We're looking for the hottest new talent in Coast Country, and it all starts here. Our local finalists will be competing at the Erie County Fair, Saturday August 14th. Our local winner will win some cool prizes, including $1,000 of studio time from Lava Room Recording in Cleveland, and win the right to go to the state finals later in the year for a shot at $1000 cash! Then, you could go to the national finals at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, home of The Grand Ole Opry, for a chance to win the grand prize: $100,000! The deadline for entry has passed. Our staff is going through all of the entries and will be announcing 7-10 local qualifiers to participate. That announcement will be coming soon, so listen to Coast Country 100.9 and check back to our website for updates.
